I absolutely love teaching and creating an environment which promotes curiosity, growth and fun! Having had the pleasure of tutoring mathematics for 4 years, I have continuously crafted the art of creating and delivering individualised lessons to enhance learning based on each students learning style – visual, auditory, kinaesthetic or hybrid.

Experience and qualifications:

• Bachelors (with Honours) degree in Mathematics with Business and Management from the University of Manchester

• 4 years tutoring experience (2 years in London, UK; and 2 years in NSW, Australia)

• Math Tutor representative for Essential Energy's NSW engineer apprentices

• Completed courses within: communication, presentation, mentoring

My story:

I grew up watching my Mum teaching in schools, and I would often go in to shadow / support her in her classrooms. As I moved into high school, I began tutoring primary students during the weekends. Mathematics runs in my family and in my blood and so this was the clear winner for the subject I was excited to teach! I’ve always loved how mathematics trains your brain to approach problem solving with a multitude of different strategies.

Having grown up, studied and worked in England, I have remained appreciative of all the opportunities that has provided me. However, in 2017, I knew it was time for a change. I was caught in the London cog and the corporate rat-race. I travelled around the world for 2.5 years, before finally following my longstanding passion of teaching and creating a business with purpose. Having settled into the beautiful little town of Woolgoolga, I have felt a wonderful sense of peace in my life. This has allowed me to work hard and watch my tutoring business thrive and grow over the years. I am grateful to be able to work in an area that brings me great joy, continuously humbles me and provides me with tremendous continual personal growth!
